Today we have the great honor of visiting two magnificent Monasteries whose beauty comes from not only the splendor of its architecture and paintings but in that we are stepping immaculate sands, touching sacred walls, and smelling spiritual breeze we dare to say that we will be in a part of the Heaven in the Land.

Let us take advantage of these graces that our God grants us because we can not only recover the health of the body if it is the will of God but much more important is the health of our soul imitating the saints who have lived and still living in these sacred monasteries.

Itinerary

Day 1

After breakfast, our tour guide will accompany you in an air-conditioned vehicle taking the highway of Cairo / Red Sea about 230 km you arrive to the monastery of Saint Antonio Abad which is the oldest ever in Christianity and, on the other hand, is considered one of the holiest places of the Coptic church in Egypt. Its historical importance, as well as it's architectural and, above all, pictorial richness makes it a fundamental place for the study of Coptic culture and writing.

Pause for a lunch in a local restaurant after which you will be transferred to:

The Monastery of Saint Pablo the Theban is from the 4th century and is a magnificent example of Coptic architecture. Where the ancient cells are seen, the cave where the hermit lived, the water well, the paintings and icons, the enormous amount of relics of saints, the wheat mill and the press of the grapes – by the way you can get holy water and sacred oil that has miraculous power. After this trip, you will be transferred to your hotel.
