Our tour guide takes you to visit the Palace of Baron Empain It is a spectacular Hindu-style palace built by Édouard Louis Joseph, Baron Empain (1852–1929), was a Belgian nobleman, The palace built following the designs of Angkor Vat in Cambodia and the Hindu temples of Orissa, built between 1907 and 1909.
After you go to the Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatemi Street or Al-Muizz Street, one of Cairo's oldest streets as it dates back to the foundation of the city by the Fatimid dynasty in the 10th century, under their fourth caliph, Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah Historically, it was the most important artery of the city. It constituted the main axis of the city's economic zones where its souqs (markets) were concentrated. The street's prestige also attracted the construction of many monumental religious buildings, which is lined with some of the most important monuments of Islamic Cairo.
We will finish our visit by taking a walk through the famous souq and Bazar of khan el Khalili one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is also home to many Egyptian artisans and workshops involved in the production of traditional crafts and souvenirs. The Khan el-Khalili today is occupied by local merchants and traders and is significantly geared towards tourists where it is considered as one of the most popular souqs in the region. Shops typically sell souvenirs, and jewelry, many craftsmen' workshops manufacturing some products sold here In addition to shops, there are several coffee-houses, restaurants, and street food vendors distributed throughout the market. The coffee shops are generally small and quite traditional, serving Arabic coffee. One of the oldest and most famous coffee houses is El Fishawi's, established in 1773.
